I often find true inspiration when I remember all those wise quotes my family members have restated, the original authors would be proud to know there words have traveled many miles throughout the years. Living My Life Like Its Golden back in August 2004 Jill Scott came out with a song living my life like it's golden. What was the artist true meaning behind the lyrics especially the chourus "I'm holding on to my freedom, Can't take it from me, I was born into it, It comes naturally, I'm strumming my own freedom, Playing the god in me, Representing his glory, Hope he's proud of me," My thoughts are that she knew that during everyone's life they experience some bumps and bruises but you have to live thru it and move on and remember no one can steal your joy or happiness they only have the power if you give it to them.
